Property Description

Discover a truly rare and coveted piece of paradise with this exquisite Bali-style tropical home, built by one of the area’s most renowned specialist builders who is no longer active, making this an extremely unique opportunity. Perched at a cool 1200 ft elevation in Hatillo, the property commands absolutely breathtaking, panoramic views, including the most incredible sunset ocean vistas, spectacular white-water views, the distant beauty of Manuel Antonio, and dramatic mountain scenery. This prime location guarantees refreshing ocean breezes and feels like you are flying over the mountains and the beach. The main residence features an incredibly open floor plan and one main bedroom, designed to maximize the light and view, opening directly onto the expansive wooden deck, which is home to the stunning infinity pool and a covered rancho, perfect for year-round entertaining. Tucked privately behind the main house is a self-contained 1-bedroom guest house, which also offers spectacular views, a full bathroom, and a small kitchenette. The property is very private, hosts a variety of fruit trees, and is ideally located: only 7-10 minutes from the paved coastal road, with most of the mountain access also paved; 10 minutes to the untouched, natural protected beach of Playa Guapil; 7 minutes to the local amenities of Hatillo; and a convenient 15-minute drive to the popular surf town of Playa Dominical, which provides a large grocery store, pharmacy, doctor’s office, and many wonderful restaurants. This highly sought-after architectural style rarely becomes available and this exceptional home will not be on the market for long.
